My name is Leidy Moreno, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) currently completing my training as a member of the student clinic. With over seven years of experience working with children and teenagers on the autism spectrum, I have had the privilege of supporting clients in diverse settings, including homes, clinics, schools, and community environments. My work involves providing personalized 1:1 support to help clients develop essential skills, self-regulation strategies, and tools for navigating their unique journeys.
I am passionate about creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. My primary focus is on Person-Centered Therapy and Narrative Therapy, approaches that allow me to deeply connect with clients’ stories and foster meaningful change. I am also eager to expand my expertise by incorporating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy into my practice.
In my personal life, I find inspiration and balance in nature. I love hiking, walking, and swimming, especially in the summer months when I spend as much time outdoors as possible. These activities allow me to recharge and stay connected to my own sense of well-being, which I bring into my work with clients.
I am committed to supporting individuals and families in achieving their goals, guided by empathy, respect, and a belief in the resilience of the human spirit.
